This particularly tumultuous year came to a head this American election season, with a result that relieved many here and around the world. It feels like we received the glimmer of hope we’d been wishing for all year.

With more head and heart space, our theme this month is Giving Thanks.

Integrating the practice of gratitude into our daily lives has had a profound effect. We feel more grounded, connected to our values, better able to weather the storms, and ready to share our joy with others.

As the holidays approach with potential time with loved ones, we hope you’ll pause for gratitude, however seemingly big or small.

Not sure where to start? Start with your base needs—food on the table, a roof over your head, the feeling of being loved or loving someone else. Or, start with yourself, where and as you are in this moment. As poet Rupi Kaur wrote, "i get so lost in where i want to go, i forget that the place i'm in is already quite magical."

Here’s to the magic that already exists within our presence, and to paying more attention.
