Dear Subscriber First Name, Happy Women’s History Month! When I think of women, I think of limitlessness despite limitations. Throughout history and today, women have lived and existed in ways that shaped the communities and world around them—as family members, as matriarchs, as caretakers, as creatives, as working women. We are and always have been intrinsically of worth. Our worth is independent of our bodies, ability to give birth, domestic chores, and whether or not we wed. Our worth lies in our dreams, our thoughts, our words, our actions. The paths we carve for ourselves, against all odds. The priorities we honor. The people we uplift—including ourselves. Who we are as individuals. Our exponential influence when we come together. We move with unmatched intuition. The women in my life come from different generations and different walks of life. Yet the sisterhood I share with each has a depth and openness that shows me time and time again that when women uplift each other, the possibilities are limitless. I leave you with a favorite Rupi Kaur poem: i can live without romantic love
