My summer playlist is streaming, and I’m daydreaming about groovy (okay, perhaps also boozy) times with friends, capturing candid moments on film, and shaking sand out of my bathing suit.

If you have a family, perhaps your summer might look like blowing up inflatables for the pool, packing half the car with everything you might need for a day outdoors, or accompanying a (grand)parent as they garden.

The upcoming days will look different for each of us, but my sincere hope is that we take the time to slow down and really experience the moment.

The past two years really taught me that time shared with family, friends, and even strangers are not to be taken for granted. Whether it’s impromptu heart-to-hearts, a flirtatious glance and shy “hello”, or dancing to the same infectious beat, I hope you find a way to lean into living*.
