Last we connected, I asked about your future self: What habits do they have, what company do they keep, and how are their days spent? This period between January 1st and Lunar New Year feels like a particularly relevant time to keep these questions top-of-mind.

The Year of the Tiger symbolizes big changes and risk-taking. The past two years, we’ve been tested in so many ways. The world slowed down then sped back up, everyday life changed shape (over and over), and personal/work boundaries stretched or straight-up disappeared. I’m willing to bet that most people discovered or finally admitted to something in their life that simply, wasn’t working for them anymore.

Maybe it’s your budgeting system (or lack there of). Or your job. Or your whole dang career. Maybe it’s teaching yourself to edit videos and finally upgrading your cheap cooking knife so you can make some TikToks.

However change looks for you, I hope you prioritize and make space for it. Mentally prepare, get your finances in order, and formulate a game plan. For the vision. For future you.
