Dear Subscriber First Name,

If it’s Autumn where you are, the leaves are changing color and setting the skyline ablaze in breathtaking gold, crimsons, and marigolds.

I talk often about seasons in these letters because I believe that our lives are similarly always in transition. While we tend to seek (and need) a sense of rootedness, our lives and who we are evolve continuously. It’s what makes this life an adventure :)

The ABG team has been learning and growing so much lately. Janet is deepening her breathwork practice, Mel is learning her family history, and Helen is preparing for motherhood. I’ve been training my body for a more active lifestyle, and reflecting on the fact that I’m about to enter my third decade of life.

Expanding the limits of what we already know, standing at the edge of our comfort zone in the spirit of being beginners again, and re-discovering the amazing things we can accomplish with persistence, gentleness, and patience… the pursuit of a humbler, wiser, more experienced version of ourselves is, in my eyes, an incredible gift and opportunity.

What’s something you’d like to learn or try? I hope you’ll give yourself the permission to just go for it.

Eating: Savory Oatmeal - Lately, all my body craves are hot foods. I recently learned that savory oatmeal can be made with Asian flavors, and even an egg! Game changer. This recipe will be a go-to from now on, especially when I need something healthy, quick, and easy to whip up.
